it all started back in the 80ies when I got addicted to bass sounds and patterns. since then I have been touring all over the world, playing my instrument with passion and dedication to hard and heavy rock music.

second show

everything went well. what a nice venue in luxembourg - no reflections from the walls in the venue, great sound devices from l acoustics that did a great job in producing a killer sound. actually, it was my birthday and everybody got involved in singing happy birthday which was quite nice. mike: you were smoking, again. ... pause NOT!

about to start the tour

yesterday I arrived at the Belgian hotel where I had the chance to meet band and crew for the first time. nice dinner and chatting but then: going thru the songs with guitar player alex for the first time. always a very special experience - no amps, just dry string steel sound. now I know that I am well prepared and can jump into the rehearsals with a grin on my face.

cheers, oliver

2 Out

is there anybody to share the great experience of having two outputs on the bass guitar? like alembic and rickenb. used to do it?

personally, I see no real alternative to it. my bass is modified with two outs, consequently.

hitting roads

again, this week will see me touring with blind guardian. my two sandbergs plus my pedalbag and I'm ready to go. just received a new strobo tuner by peterson which is an amazing tool to perfectly tune my instrument. highly recommended!
